The place God calls you to is the place where your deep gladness and the world's deep hunger meet.
-Frederick Buechner
Nine years ago, I went on my first eMi trip as an intern. eMi (engineering Ministries International) is a Christian ministry that designs facilities that serve the poor in developing countries. Since 1982, eMi has worked on over 1,000 relief and development projects in 90+ countries. In the past few years, I've volunteered on six other trips to different parts of the world with them. From homelessness to slum upgrades, from hygiene to access to potable water, the need is vast. Beyond meeting the physical needs, we are convicted by the love of God to love our neighbors, to share the hope that is in us, and to be a blessing to the nations. Our mission is to see lives transformed through the work we have been empowered to do; and our goal is to glorify Him and to make His name known.
My role at eMi Canada will be multifaceted:
Passions that He has planted and skills that He has blessed me with somehow all fit into His Kingdom picture. I can hardly wait!
My role at eMi Canada will be multifaceted:

- As an Associate Project Leader, I will assist project leader with trip recruitment, logistics, and other managerial needs.
- As a Communication Support, I will provide graphic design and writing assistance.
Passions that He has planted and skills that He has blessed me with somehow all fit into His Kingdom picture. I can hardly wait!
